Greece’s PNO umbrella seamen’s federation has called a 24-hour strike that will keep all ferries moored in port.
According to Kathimerini, Athens buses and trolley buses will only run between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and metro trains will operate from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Labor rallies in central Athens are also expected to severely disrupt bus and trolley schedules.
Services on the Athens-Piraeus electric railway (Line 1) will be suspended all day as the workers’ union has called a 24-hour strike.
