New Democracy maintains lead despite criticism, ALCO Poll finds
The ruling New Democracy party continues to hold a strong lead over its political rivals, according to a new opinion poll conducted by ALCO for Alpha TV, even as concerns over government performance persist among voters.
The poll shows New Democracy with 24% support in voting intentions—a slight decline of one percentage point since June.
PASOK ranks second with 11.5%, followed by the far-right Greek Solution at 9.3%. SYRIZA trails at 6.2%, while both the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and Course of Freedom register 7.1% each.
All other parties fall below the 4% threshold, and a significant 19% of respondents remain undecided.
Despite leading in voter preference, the government faces criticism over its effectiveness. When asked about the administration’s overall performance, 69% of those surveyed rated it as inefficient, while only 23% viewed it as efficient.
