According to a new Interview poll conducted for Political newspaper, New Democracy (ND) maintains a strong lead in voter intentions, continuing to show a double-digit advantage over the second party. PASOK comes in second, while Zoe Konstantopoulou’s Plefsi Eleftherias (Course of Freedom) has dropped to fourth place.

According to a new Interview poll conducted for Political newspaper, New Democracy (ND) maintains a strong lead in voter intentions, continuing to show a double-digit advantage over the second party. PASOK comes in second, while Zoe Konstantopoulou’s Plefsi Eleftherias (Course of Freedom) has dropped to fourth place.

ND’s Comfortable Lead

The poll shows ND garnering 30% of the projected vote share, holding a 15.9-point lead over PASOK. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis remains the most preferred political leader for governance, although inflation continues to dominate public concern.

Mitsotakis Remains Most Trusted Leader

When asked who they trust most to govern the country, 29.8% of respondents chose Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, followed by:

“None”: 26.4%

Nikos Androulakis (PASOK): 9.8%

Kyriakos Velopoulos (Greek Solution): 6.7%

Dimitris Koutsoumbas (KKE): 5.9%

Zoe Konstantopoulou (Course of Freedom): 5.4%

Socrates Famellos (SYRIZA): 4.1%

Stefanos Kasselakis (SYRIZA): 3.9%

Afroditi Latinopoulou: 2.1%

Dimitris Natsios (Victory): 1.9%

Alexis Charitsis: 1.7%

Vasilis Stigas (Spartans): 1.3%

"Don’t know / No answer": 1%

ND Seen as Best Crisis Manager

Respondents were also asked which party they believe is most capable of managing a serious national, economic, or health crisis:

New Democracy: 31.4%

PASOK: 11.6%

Other: 10%

Greek Solution: 7.3%

KKE: 5.4%

SYRIZA: 4.9%

Course of Freedom: 3.7%

Inflation: The Nation’s Top Concern

The survey highlights inflation as the most pressing issue facing Greek society, with 27.9% of respondents listing it as their top concern. Additionally, 19.5% of voters said their family’s financial situation is the main factor influencing their vote.
