It has been stated that citizens without identity cards can vote with their passport, driver's license or health book in the 21 May elections in Greece.

Shortly before the general elections, it became clear with which documents the citizens could vote.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Interior, it was stated that citizens who do not have an identity card (Taftotita) can vote with a passport, driver's license or health book.

In the statement, it was reported that for the first time this year, the “Wallet” application on mobile phones will also be available.

The “Wallet” application can be downloaded from the “gov.gr” address.

Documents such as identity card, driver's license and passport can be added to the application.

In the meantime, it was stated that the authorized units will be open on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21, the Election Day, for citizens who want to issue an identity card before the elections.
