Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis meets with South Korean counterpart
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo. During the meeting, bilateral relations and international developments were discussed. A memorandum of understanding foreseeing cooperation between the two countries was signed.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who is on an official visit to Greece.
According to a statement released by the Greek Prime Minister's Office, during the meeting in the capital Athens, bilateral relations as well as international and regional developments were discussed.
A memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries was signed.
South Korean Prime Minister Han congratulated his counterpart Mitsotakis on his electoral success and economic growth.
Reminding that Greece rushed to help South Korea in 1950, Han pointed out that 186 Greek soldiers lost their lives in the Korean War.
Stating that Greek shipowners are among the biggest customers of Korean shipyards, Mitsotakis noted that the two countries can also cooperate in the field of trade and technology.
