European Commissioner for Regional Policy Corina Cretu congratulated the Greek government during her meeting on Wednesday with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
She said that Greece remains first in the absorption of European funds in the current period, a prime minister's press office announcement said.Moreover, Cretu noted that "it is important the decisions for the next European budget to be reached soon to avoid an investment gap between the two programme periods.
