Greece increases visa-on-arrival fee to €85

The visa-on-arrival scheme introduced last year for Turkish citizens visiting select Greek islands will continue this year—but with updated terms. The program, initially launched in 2024, saw higher-than-expected demand, prompting Greek authorities to extend the policy for another year.

Moreover, the number of Greek islands accessible under the scheme has increased from 10 to 12, making it easier for Turkish tourists to travel to more destinations in the Aegean.

For travelers under the age of 18, the visa fee has been set at a reduced rate of €20.

The visa-on-arrival program aims to boost tourism while simplifying entry procedures for short-term visits to designated islands.
