GPO poll shows ND maintaining lead
New Democracy remains ahead of EL.A.S, while PASOK ranks third in the first poll conducted after the prime minister’s announcements at the Thessaloniki International Fair.
ND leads voting intention, EL.A.S follows with 13,5%
New Democracy leads with 25.8% in voting intention, according to a new GPO poll conducted for Greek broadcaster Star.
EL.A.S, the party led by Alexis Tsipras, follows with 13.5%, while PASOK ranks third at 10.8%.
Greek Solution is fourth with 7.6%, followed by the Communist Party of Greece at 7.4% and Plefsi Eleftherias at 4.1%.
Voice of Logic records 3.1%, while Elpida gia ti Dimokratia stands at 3%.
Wider gap in election estimate
The gap between New Democracy and EL.A.S widens to 14.6 percentage points in the poll’s estimate of the election result.
New Democracy reaches 30.6%, compared with 16% for EL.A.S.
PASOK remains in third place at 12.8%, followed by Greek Solution at 9%.
The Communist Party of Greece records 8.8%, while Plefsi Eleftherias stands at 4.9%.
Voice of Logic receives 3.7%, followed by Elpida gia ti Dimokratia at 3.6%.
