Gov.gr upgraded with personalised services and new messaging platform
Gov.gr is being upgraded with the introduction of a more personalised service model for citizens and businesses. At the same time, the “ gov.gr Messenger” is being launched, a new secure communication channel that will allow public authorities to send direct updates, notifications and messages to citizens.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Digital Governance, the new features are part of the wider Customer Relationship Management (CRM) development project and mark the transition from a model based on separate digital services to a unified and personalised environment for interaction between citizens and the public administration.
When accessing gov.gr, citizens will now complete a single login using their personal Taxisnet credentials, without the need to repeatedly enter their access details when moving between different services.
The new user experience will initially be available for a specific number of services, which will gradually be expanded. The first phase includes the services most frequently used by citizens, such as:
⦁ Solemn Declaration
⦁ Authorisation
⦁ Digital certification of documents
⦁ Private agreements
⦁ Municipal registry certificates
⦁ Civil registry certificates
⦁ as well as other popular online services.
The new service is also integrated into the upgraded version of the Gov.gr Wallet. Another new feature allows citizens to evaluate gov.gr services directly.
The development of the new gov.gr platform and the “ gov.gr Messenger” was carried out by the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance, in cooperation with the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology under the coordination of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
