Civil Protection issues weather warnings amid worsening forecast
The General Secretariat for Civil Protection under the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection urged on Monday citizens to exercise extreme caution and take self-protection measures against hazards arising from severe weather phenomena.
It has also notified relevant state bodies, regions, and municipalities nationwide to be on high civil protection alert for an immediate response to severe weather impacts.
Meanwhile, the Fire Service announcedon Monday the activation of its operational plan for flood risk management and associated phenomena, placing Fire Services in expected impact zones on heightened and scalable readiness.
