A 57-year-old homeless man from Romania was found dead at a restaurant in Omonia, central Athens, on Wednesday, prompting the arrest of the 56-year-old owner and two employees on charges of manslaughter.

A 57-year-old homeless man from Romania was found dead at a restaurant in Omonia, central Athens, on Wednesday, prompting the arrest of the 56-year-old owner and two employees on charges of manslaughter.
Initially, the restaurant owner claimed he found the man outside but later changed his story, saying the victim had fallen down stairs inside the restaurant.
After moving the unconscious man out, the trio failed to call an ambulance. Police are now investigating whether the death was accidental or the result of foul play.
