Androulakis: PASOK will be everywhere
"In the next period PASOK will be everywhere, next the citizen, to the society and in the parliament, listening and highlighting the problems and giving processed and targeted answers, always with a progressive sign for the benefit of the middle classes and the most vulnerable", underlined PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis in an interview with the Sunday newspaper To Vima. He also set as a clear goal, as he stated, "to show the exit door to the New Democracy government, because not only did it not face the pathogenies, but it also created new problems."
Androulakis pointed out that PASOK should hold the helm firmly and to continue with more determination the programmed and credible opposition that will convince the citizens that there is an alternative governance proposal.
Specifically on the econony he underlined that the policy he proposes is about supporting the world of work, with targeted reductions in taxes and contributions, alongside the establishment of strict rules in the operation of the market to put an end to the impunity of oligopolies. In addition, he added that "the plan we submitted a long time ago for the utilization of the 36 billion euros of the Recovery Fund really opens new paths for productive reconstruction, balanced regional development, support for small and medium entrepreneurship and the creation of a modern and resilient social state".
On the Greek-Turkish relations, Androulakis noted that "our national strategy should remain extroverted, multidimensional and active. We cannot be considered a follower of any power, because every country has its national interests that at times either diverge or converge with ours."
