The delegations headed by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Burak Akçapar and Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantinos Frangoyannis will meet today (Friday 26 April) for the sixth meeting of the Positive Agenda initiative between the two countries, which started in 2021.

The delegations headed by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Burak Akçapar and Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantinos Frangoyannis will meet today (Friday 26 April) for the sixth meeting of the Positive Agenda initiative between the two countries, which started in 2021.

According to the information obtained from diplomatic sources, within the framework of the Positive Agenda dialogue between Turkey and Greece, delegations headed by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Akçapar and Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Frangoyannis will hold the sixth meeting of the Positive Agenda initiative, which started in 2021, in Istanbul today.

During the meeting, it is envisaged to review the progress made in the Joint Action Plan for the development of bilateral trade, economic, transport, education, technology, environment, health and humanitarian relations since the last meeting held in Athens on 16 October 2023 and to discuss new areas of cooperation that can be included in the process, as well as to exchange ideas on the future of the process.
