Across the eurozone, inflation also eased marginally, reaching 2.1% from 2.2% the previous month.
This marks the third consecutive month of declining inflation in Greece, following a rate of 3.7% in July. Greece recorded the fifth-lowest inflation among eurozone countries in October, behind Cyprus (0.3%), France (0.9%), Italy (1.3%), and Finland (1.5%).
At the other end of the spectrum, the highest inflation rates were observed in Estonia (4.5%), Latvia (4.2%), and both Austria and Croatia (4%).
