AADE: Online tax services to close late Dec. 31, reopen Jan. 2, 2026
Several digital tax services operated by Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) will be temporarily unavailable from late on New Year’s Eve, reopening on Jan. 2, 2026, the authority said.
According to AADE, online applications will remain accessible to taxpayers until 23:00 on Dec. 31, after which most services will be suspended as part of year-end procedures.
Among the platforms closing at that time are myPROPERTY, which handles property transfers related to sales, gifts and inheritance; property tax (ENFIA) declarations for tax years 2014–2025; and the filing of initial and amended income tax returns. The latter service will reopen on Jan. 2 for tax years 2020–2024 and on Jan. 12 for tax years 2015–2019.
Also affected are applications for declarations of foreign currency imports, electronic submission of VAT returns, and statements certifying wages, pensions, business income and dividend income for the 2024 tax year.
AADE said that all of the above services will resume on Jan. 2, 2026. An exception applies to the application for issuing ENFIA property tax assessments and receipts for the 2026 tax year, which will also reopen on Jan. 2, 2026.
