AADE launches new tax and customs portal

Greece's Independent Authority for Public Revenue, AADE, has launched a new digital portal designed to simplify access to the country's tax and customs legislation.

Called myLEX, the platform brings together the legislative and regulatory framework covering taxation, customs and the General Chemical State Laboratory.

The portal is a joint initiative of AADE and the Finance Ministry and was presented Thursday at an event at AADE headquarters.

Search tools simplify access

The platform is freely available to the public, businesses and professionals, although its content is currently available only in Greek.

Users can search for legislation through keywords and filters, allowing them to locate relevant provisions without consulting multiple sources.

The system also connects legislation with related decisions, circulars, guidance and other supporting documents.

Users can track legal changes

MyLEX allows users to follow how legislation has changed over time and compare different versions of legal provisions.

The platform also provides information on which legislative framework was in force during a specific period, helping users identify the rules applicable at a particular time.

AADE said the portal is designed as a single, interconnected legislative information environment, offering easier access to the rules governing taxation and customs in Greece.
