Political Crisis Cannot Be Resolved in Bulgaria..Will There Be A Sixth Election?

Speaking at the forum on the "EU and the Balkans" held yesterday,  the President of the Rights and Freedoms movement Mustafa Karadayı warned that the "sixth and unnecessary new elections" are on the way in two years.

Karadayı stated that Bulgaria , as a member state, should set an example for other countries on the way to EU membership in the Balkans.

DPS leader: “Despite this, we have been in a political crisis for two years. Now we are seeing more – a sixth, unnecessary new snap general election in Bulgaria is on the horizon. In this respect, I am raising the following question: Who gains from this situation in Bulgaria and the Balkans”.

Speaking to the press in the parliament, GERB leader boyko borisov said :  “Prodaljavame Promyanata- Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB) GERB- sds is in the same position as the mirror of the coalition. "If the first mandate to form a government fails, the second will not succeed either,"  he said.

Boyko Borisov: “If a cabinet cannot be formed with the first mandate, neither will the second one.

We are trying very hard to find a formula and establish an ordinary government. What should I do alone? We can only do so much with 69 deputies," he said.

Borisov claimed that neither the second nor the third authority could form a government. Guessing that President Radev will give the BSP the third mandate, the GERB leader hinted at new early elections.

Although Boyko Borisov does not support the proposal of the PP-DB technocrats government, he announced that GERB will present a cabinet chaired by Mariya Gabriel and its main goal will be judicial reforms.
