Levent Sadık Ahmet attends World Turkish Business Council Meeting in North Macedonia
Western Thrace businessman and Chair of the Balkan Representative Board of the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK), as well as Greece Representative, Levent Sadık Ahmet, participated in the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK) meeting in North Macedonia.
The meeting took place in Skopje during the Türkiye-North Macedonia Business Forum, attended by Türkiye's Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, who also held official meetings.
During the event, moderated by DEİK-World Turkish Business Council Chair Nail Olpak, Minister Bolat highlighted the success and expansion of Turkish businesses globally:
"The Turkish business world is entering global markets with a pioneering spirit. This expansion creates new opportunities, increases trade with Turkey, and boosts employment and investment in our country," Bolat stated.
Minister Bolat also shared that during his meeting with North Macedonia's Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, it was confirmed that the country is welcoming to Turkish investors. Additionally, they agreed to update the Free Trade Agreement between the two nations.
Turkey’s Ambassador to Skopje, Fatih Ulusoy, praised DTİK’s efforts and expressed pride in the achievements of Turkish firms in the region.
Key figures at the meeting, including Macedonia Türkiye Chamber of Commerce Chair Aydoğan Ademoski, DTİK North Macedonia Representative Bilal Sucubaşı, and Levent Sadık Ahmet, discussed the significant contributions of Turkish entrepreneurs and the broader mission they fulfill beyond Türkiye.
Later, Minister Bolat also met with Turkish construction firms in the North Macedonian Parliament, alongside Prime Minister Mickoski.
