YTB is preparing to train future writers with an online writing workshop for the Balkans.
Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) is preparing to train future writers with an online writing workshop for the Balkans.
The online writing workshop, essay, story, and poetry classes, which will be held with participants aged between 18-40, who currently live in the Balkans or who live in the Balkans and are temporarily in Turkey for various reasons (studentship, etc.), are experts in their fields.

Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) is preparing to train future writers with an online writing workshop for the Balkans.
The online writing workshop, essay, story, and poetry classes, which will be held with participants aged between 18-40, who currently live in the Balkans or who live in the Balkans and are temporarily in Turkey for various reasons (studentship, etc.), are experts in their fields.
- In the story and essay lessons in online workshops where sustainable literacy acquisition is one of the main goals; features of literary text, possibilities and limits of literary genres together with text analysis and writing practices; Topics such as Turkish syntax, basic spelling rules and grammar will be covered in depth.
- In the poetry class, “Who is the poet?”, “How about good poetry?” and “how not to write poetry?” The works of the most important poets of Turkish poetry will be analyzed around basic questions such as, and detailed readings will be made on the basic concepts of poetry.
- As a result of the workshop, each participant who successfully completes the courses will have the opportunity to write in the literary magazine prepared by YTB for the Balkans.
- To participate in the Balkans Online Writing Workshop, send your works in the genres of short stories, essays, and poetry, together with the application form and application specifications, to yazarlikakademisi@ytb.gov.tr, and get a chance to attend the workshop!
