UN: 2 mothers killed every hour in Gaza
UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths shared a message on his X social media account.
Stating that overcrowded hospitals in Gaza are under bombardment, Griffiths noted that houses have turned into rubble.
Griffiths stated that safe areas have turned into dangerous areas.
"There has been no reduction in the atrocities against Gaza since 7 October," Griffiths said, adding that 2 mothers are killed every hour in Gaza.
Since 7 October, 25,295 Palestinians, including at least 10,800 children and 7,250 women, have been killed and 63,000 people have been injured in Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip.
While thousands of dead are still reported under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where people take shelter.
