Yassıköy Municipality submits proposal for two new water reservoirs

Yassıköy Mayor Caner İmam has formally submitted a proposal to the East Macedonia and Thrace Regional Administration for the creation of two new water reservoirs within the municipality.
The project aims to enhance the efficient use of local water resources and support agricultural activities in the region. The planned reservoirs are expected to increase irrigation capacity and provide sustainable solutions for producers' access to water.
If approved by regional authorities, the project will be funded by the East Macedonia and Thrace Region, allowing Yassıköy Municipality to continue strengthening its infrastructure through interregional cooperation.
The municipality stated that it remains committed to improving local infrastructure and promoting sustainable environmental management.
