Xanthi Yassiören-Çay Mahalle landslide on the way
A landslide occurred late at night on the Yassıören-Çay Mahallesi road of the Mustafçova (Miki) Municipality of Xanthi.
As a result of the landslide that occurred late at night on the road between Yassıören-Çay Mahalle, the road between the two villages was completely closed. The landslide did not cause loss of life or property. Work to clear the road began in the early hours of the morning.
The Mayor of Mustafçova, Rıdvan Deli Hüseyin, made the following statements regarding the landslide:

There was a big landslide on the road going to Yassıören-Çay neighborhood late last night. Our region's connection has failed.
Our technical team and vice president Sami Kehagia were on the scene earlier than night. As a result of the decisions taken from the early hours of the morning, the construction machines started to clean and reopen the road.
The pleasing side is that there is no loss of life or property. Get well soon to all our people, especially our people in the region.”
