Xanthi Turkish Union executives visited Mufti Trampa
The executives of the Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB) visited the newly elected Mufti of Xanthi, Mustafa Trampa, in his office on Wednesday, September 28 and conveyed their congratulations.
The delegation, chaired by ITB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, consisting of the members of the board of directors and the supervisory board as well as the directors of the Women's Branch, wished the Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trapma success in his new duty.
Xanthi Turkish Union President Ahmetoğlu stated that as an association, they have always been in close cooperation with the Mufti of Xanthi, and that they will always strengthen this relationship. Ahmetoğlu reminded that Mufti Mustafa Trampa also served in ITB administrations and emphasized that they would always be his supporter.
Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa stated that he always appreciated the efforts of the ITB, the oldest non-governmental organization of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, in its struggle against the denial of its identity and in keeping the minority's culture alive, and noted that they will be in close cooperation with the ITB.
Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa thanked the ITB delegation for the visit.
Meanwhile, Ozan Ahmetoğlu presented Mufti Trampa a CD on the ITB's 39-year struggle for rights.
The Women's Branch also presented flowers to Mufti Trampa.
