JUSTICE FOR THE 57 PEOPLE WHO WERE UNJUSTLY LOST - THE ONLY STRUGGLE FOR DEMANDS IS THE STRIKE"

"It is a day of remembrance that perhaps no one wants to remember, but we must keep it alive in our memory. All we ask for is justice for the 57 people who were unjustly lost.

At the same time, however, ADEDY is asking for all of us workers, the people who toil and work every day, for a wage increase so that we can have a better standard of living.

This is something we must ask for daily and we can only get it with the great participation of strike mobilizations." said among other things in his speech, the president of the N.T ADEDY Xanthi Mr. Charalambos Efstratiou, characterizing the strike as a "unique struggle" and noting that only with the strike we can shake any government and demand increases in wages to enable the Greek family to live.

Afterwards, all association presidents and representatives participating in the event took the floor and made speeches based on the meaning of the day.

The protest march ended peacefully with the participation of all unions and associations meeting in Xanthi City Square.
