According to the statement made by the Police Directorate of the Prefecture of Rodopi, a Greek citizen woman working in a business in Komotini stole cash and goods totalling 20 thousand euro.

As a result of the follow-up carried out by the store owner, it was determined that the employee stole cash and goods from the cash register. The store owner filed a complaint with the police in line with the evidence obtained. The police caught the employee red-handed.

According to the results of the investigation, it was determined that the Greek citizen in question stole cash and some valuables from the store's cash register between 1 and 21 June.

It was determined that the store owner suffered a loss of 20 thousand euros due to the theft by his employee.

The arrested shoplifter was referred to the prosecutor's office after the first interrogation at the police headquarters.
