Who is Mustafa Trampa? His candidacy was announced for the Mufti elections to be held on Friday, September 9 in Xanthi?
The Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board announced the Xanthi Mufti Candidates and the date of mufti elections.
The meeting of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board, closed to the press, to announce the mufti candidates was held in Kirnos (Kırköy), of the Municipality of Topiros in Xanthi. All religious officials working in the province of Xanthi attended the meeting.
In the statement sent to the press after the meeting, it was stated that the candidacy of Mustafa Trampa and Mustafa Kamu's was unanimously accepted by the Advisory Board.
In the statement made by the Advisory Board, it was stated that the elections for the Mufti of Xanthi will be held on Friday, September 9, at all mosques in Xanthi by raising hands.

MUSTAFA TRAMPA (MOUSTAFA TRAMPA)
He was born in 1974, in Echinos, Xanthi, Greece.
He completed his primary education in Echinos, Xanthi.
He graduated from Edirne Imam Hatip High School in 1993.
He graduated from Konya Selçuk University Faculty of Theology in 1998.
He has been a member of Western Thrace Sermon and Irşad Delegation since 2001.
He completed his master’s degree at Üsküdar University, Institute of Sufi Studies with his thesis titled “Mawlid Tradition in Western Thrace”.
He is currently doing his PhD in Islamic Sufi Philosophy at İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
He worked as a columnist for 7 years in Millet Newspaper published in Western Thrace.
He wrote articles for FİYAKA Magazine which was published in Komotini for a while.
He is the editor of KARDELEN Magazine which continues to be published by Muftiate of Xanthi.
He is Vice President of the Disciplinary Board of Muftiate of Xanthi.
He is the Education Commission President of Muftiate of Xanthi.
He has been working as the general secretariat of the board of directors for two terms, as a cashier for one term, and currently as president of the supervisory board in the Turkish Union of Xanthi.
He is a former central executive board member of the Friendship Equality and Peace Party and founding member of the Provincial Organization Board of Xanthi.
He is a founding member of Association of Education and Culture in Echinos (Şahin Eğitim ve Kültür Derneği)
He was the closest colleague of the late Mufti of Xanthi Ahmet Mete for about 15 years. He currently continues his duty as the Education and Cultural Affairs Branch Manager of Muftiate of Xanthi.
