Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association to hold 57th Ordinary General Assembly in Istanbul
The Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association is set to hold its 57th Ordinary General Assembly on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Istanbul.
According to an announcement released by the association, the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. local time and will take place at the Zeytinburnu Culture and Arts Center, located on Semiha Şakir Avenue in Istanbul’s Zeytinburnu district.
The assembly is expected to focus on reviewing the association’s activities, discussing plans for the upcoming term, and addressing key administrative and management agenda items.
Founded in 1946, the association has long played a prominent role in representing and supporting the Western Thrace Turkish Community in Türkiye and abroad. Through its annual and ordinary assemblies, the organization aims to strengthen institutional coordination and maintain engagement with its membership base.
The upcoming gathering is also expected to bring together members and representatives from various branches and community circles connected to the Western Thrace Turkish diaspora.
