Western Thrace Turks gather for Ramadan Iftar in Viersen, Germany
The event was held on Saturday, March 7, during the holy month of Ramadan. The association is a member organization of the Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF).
Community Members and Families Attend
The iftar gathering took place at the association’s local venue and was attended by board members, association members, and their families. Participants came together to share the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan and strengthen community bonds.
Following the evening call to prayer (adhan), attendees broke their fast and shared the iftar meal together.
Strengthening Unity Among the Diaspora
The event brought together Western Thrace Turks living in Viersen and nearby areas, reinforcing solidarity and a sense of community among the diaspora.
Organizers noted that such gatherings during Ramadan help preserve cultural ties and strengthen social connections among Western Thrace Turks living across Europe.
The evening concluded with the serving of tea, coffee, and desserts, allowing participants to continue conversations in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
