Western Thrace football club in Selanik sets goals for new season
Thrace Football Club, established by Western Thrace Turks living in Selanik, held its annual end-of-season meeting with the participation of the club's board members, coaching staff and players.
The traditional barbecue gathering provided an opportunity to review the 2025–2026 season while also discussing the club's priorities and ambitions for the upcoming 2026–2027 campaign.
Held in a friendly atmosphere, the meeting focused on identifying ways to build on the previous season and improve the team's performance. Club officials, coaches and players exchanged ideas on the roadmap for achieving stronger results in the new season.
The club's leadership and technical staff stressed that preparation for the upcoming campaign would be based on unity, commitment and teamwork. They reaffirmed their determination to strengthen Thrace Football Club's sporting achievements and continue its development.
Participants also highlighted the importance of the annual gathering in reinforcing solidarity within the club and strengthening team spirit ahead of the new season.
Founded by members of the Western Thrace Turkish community, Thrace Football Club has become an important social and sporting platform for bringing together young athletes and promoting community engagement through football in Selanik.
