The Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of İskeçe (DEYAX) has continued cutting off water supplies in Koyunköy over outstanding debts, as part of an effort to address overdue bills and ensure the proper operation of the local water network.

The latest interventions were carried out on August 11 and 12, following an initial round of water supply cutoffs conducted on July 27 and 28.

Police assistance during the operations
DEYAX said its crews carried out the necessary work with the assistance of police officers from the Department for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes in İskeçe, as well as officers from the İskeçe Prevention and Mediation Team and the İskeçe Crime Prevention and Suppression Team.

According to the utility, police support was provided to ensure that the operations were conducted safely and without disruption.

Action over overdue debts
DEYAX said the water supply interruptions are part of procedures предусмотрed for consumers with overdue debts and are intended to ensure equal treatment of all customers.

The utility said the measures are necessary to address outstanding financial obligations and protect the effective operation of the water supply network.

DEYAX has called on consumers with outstanding debts to contact its services to obtain information about available options for settling and restructuring their obligations.

The company also thanked the police officers and units involved for their assistance in ensuring the safe completion of the water supply cutoff operations.
