Visit of the Turkish Consul General Mr. Ünal to Muratlı
Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Ünal visited the village of Muratlı in the province of Rhodope and met with the cognates.
Turkish Consul General Ünal was accompanied by Consul General Barış Çulha.
Consul General Ünal, together with President of the Advisory Board of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif, performed the Friday prayer in Muratlı village.
The visit to Muratlı village was also attended by Sedat Hasan, President of Komotini Turkish Youth Association, Ahmet Pehlivan Osman, Advisor to the State President for Health and İbrahim Kamil, Civil Engineer.
In the social media account of the Consulate General, the following statement was made: "We were the guests of our compatriots in the village of Rhodope/Muratlı. Thank you for their invitation and efforts."
İbrahim Şerif, President of Advisory Board and Mufti of Komotini, said in his post: "Today we performed the Friday prayer in Muratlı, one of the lowland villages. We had a conversation with the congregation about Berat Kandil. We thank the people of the village who opened their hearts to us."
