Vehicle procured through TAP for the Civil Protection Department of Iasmos Municipality
The Civil Protection Department of Iasmos Municipality will be strengthened with a vehicle that was procured through the TAP (Trans Adriatic Pipeline) company and provided by the Municipality. The vehicle is already equipped with a salt spreader for winter road maintenance, and plans are in place to install a water tank next year to improve its effectiveness in responding to fires.
The Mayor of Iasmos, speaking to the Municipal Council, mentioned that the Municipality is on high alert this summer, providing a water tanker and support from JCB and grader operators. The addition of the water tank will allow the vehicle to be used both for winter and summer needs.
For this reason, the Municipal Council was asked to officially assign the vehicle to the Civil Protection Department, so the head of the department can legally operate it and respond quickly to incidents that require urgent intervention.
