Variable skies and cooler temperatures across Macedonia and Thrace

Residents of northern Greece can expect generally fair weather today, although localized instability will bring showers and possible thunderstorms to several areas, especially in the afternoon hours.
Eastern Macedonia and Thrace will start the day with patchy cloud cover, with local rain showers and isolated thunderstorms likely during the early morning. As the day progresses, clouds will build again in the afternoon, particularly over mountainous terrain, bringing scattered showers and occasional storms.
Elsewhere in Macedonia, skies will be mostly clear during the morning. However, inland regions will see an increase in cloudiness by midday, potentially leading to brief, localized showers and isolated storms in higher elevations.
Winds will generally blow from the north at 4 to 5 Beaufort, temporarily reaching 6 Beaufort in the early morning. By midday, winds will shift to become light and variable, around 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperatures will range from 19°C in the early morning to highs of 33°C, and locally up to 34°C in some lowland areas. Notably, a slight drop in temperatures is expected compared to previous days, particularly across northern inland regions.
