Two unidentified people burned the car, disappeared
Two people set fire to a vehicle with Bulgarian license plate parked at the entrance of Kır Vakıf village of Şapçı Maronya Municipality. Those who burned the vehicle disappeared in a short time.
The incident took place at around 21:00 this evening. Providing information to MİLLET, Deputy Mayor of Maronya, Mustafa Karagöz, who is responsible for the region, stated that a vehicle with Bulgarian license plate, which had been parked at the entrance of Kır Vakıf village for a while, was set on fire this evening. According to eyewitnesses, two people burned the vehicle. It was stated that after these people set the vehicle on fire, they quickly moved away from the fields and disappeared.
The incident of setting the vehicle on fire was reported to the police and fire brigade. The police came to the scene and investigated. For now, there is no information about the people who burned the vehicle and disappeared, who they are and why they set the vehicle on fire.
Flames quickly grew from the burned vehicle. The fire, which rendered the vehicle unusable, was extinguished by firefighters called to the scene before it spread over a large area.
