Concert draws large crowd at Via Egnatia Festival in Şapçı
A large audience gathered in Şapçı, in the Rodope regional unit, for a concert held as part of the 13th Via Egnatia Festival, one of the region's leading cultural events.
The evening featured performances by the Chouridis Brothers and renowned Greek singer Pitsa Papadopoulou, who entertained attendees with a selection of popular songs, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the festival venue.
The Municipality of Maronia-Şapçı said the strong public turnout once again highlighted the festival's cultural significance for the region. Municipal officials thanked the artists, municipal staff, security personnel, volunteers, technical crews and everyone involved in organizing the event.
Mayor Apostolos Ioannou welcomed the high level of public participation, expressing his appreciation to the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Western Thrace, as well as all individuals and organizations that contributed to the successful staging of the concert. He reaffirmed the municipality's commitment to supporting cultural and artistic events in the future.
