Turkish Commercial Attaché Dr. Gülcan İren visits Rodopi Chamber of Craftsmen and Tradesmen (EBEP)

Held in a positive and constructive atmosphere, the meeting covered a wide range of topics, including:

• Enhancing bilateral trade relations
• Boosting exports and imports between the Rodopi region and various parts of Türkiye
• Facilitating cross-border trade of agricultural, artisanal, and local products
• Promoting participation in trade fairs and business forums

Both sides also proposed organizing joint business forums to foster networking opportunities between entrepreneurs from the two countries. Discussions also emphasized the potential of thematic tourism sectors such as religious, cultural, and gastronomic tourism, with suggestions for developing cooperation between tourism enterprises and institutions in both regions.

One of the key points highlighted was the need to establish official communication and collaboration channels between the organizations. The participants discussed possible joint investment ventures aimed at sustainable business development.

Also present at the meeting were EBEP General Secretary Barış Mustafa and International Relations Officer Özkan Raif. The gathering concluded with mutual commitment to pursue concrete actions that would support the business communities of both countries and maintain ongoing collaboration.
