Consul General Ünal and Trade Attaché İren visit Thrace Business Association
Aykut Ünal, Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini, and Gülcan İren, Trade Attaché of the Consulate General in Thessaloniki, met with businesspeople from the Western Thrace Turkish Minority during a visit to the Thrace Business Association.
The visit took place on Thursday, May 22, at the association’s headquarters in Komotini. The delegation held a meeting with members of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority who are active in the business sector.
Following the visit, the Consulate General of Türkiye in Komotini shared a statement on its official social media account, saying:
“Together with our Trade Attaché Gülcan İren from the Consulate General in Thessaloniki, we met with our fellow compatriots who are members of the Thrace Business Association. We thank the association’s officials for the productive meeting.”
The Thrace Business Association is one of the key platforms representing Turkish entrepreneurs in Western Thrace, promoting dialogue and cooperation among business leaders and Turkish officials in the region.
