Tragic end in Xanthi: 39-year-old army officer dies

A 39-year-old midshipman serving in the 4th Corps, headquartered in Xanthi, lost his life.
Another member of the Greek Army died in Xanthi on Friday. This was the second sudden death in the army in a few days.
According to kranosgr.com, the unfortunate 39-year-old midshipman, who was serving in the 4th Corps, collapsed after the completion of his scan on the brain tomography device and reportedly died of a heart attack.
Forensic examination is expected to shed light on the exact cause of his death.
24 hours ago, it was reported in the press that a 48-year-old non-commissioned officer in Volos lost consciousness in front of his family at his home in Alikes. The soldier was transferred to Volos Hospital, but despite all efforts, he could not hold on to life.
