The Mufti of Komotini organizes a program for those who lost their lives in the earthquake
Western Thrace Turks gave great support to the aid campaigns organized for the survivors of the two major earthquakes that took place in the motherland Türkiye on February 6, 2023, with food, clothing or financial support. Thousands of religious brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the devastating earthquakes described as the "Disaster of the Century" will be commemorated with religious programs and prayers.
The Qur'an, Mevlid-i Sharif and hymns will be recited both in Xanthi and in Komotini to be donated to the souls of those who died in the earthquake.
The Mufti of Komotini will organize a program of Hatim Prayer and Mevlid-i Sharif after the night prayer at the Kırmahalle Mosque on Friday, February 17, 2023, when Miraç Kandili will be realized for the souls of those who lost their lives in the great disaster.
All Western Thrace compatriots are invited to this meaningful religious program to be organized by the Mufti.
