Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu's new book is introduced
Author Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu's new book titled "Selections from What I Wrote in the Past" was introduced in Komotini.
Retired Teacher-Writer Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu, continues to serve the Western Thrace Turkish Minority with his books. His new book “Selections from What I Wrote in the Past” introduced in Komotini.
The book titled “Selections from What I Wrote in the Past” was introduced on Saturday, December 17 at the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union (BTTÖB) local in Komotini.
The book launch was attended by Consul Neslihan Altay, representing Türkiye's Consulate General in Komotini, Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif, FEP Party Chairman Çiğdem Asafoğlu, BTTOB President Aydın Ahmet, President of Komotini Turkish Youth Union Sedat Hasan, BTAYTD President Hüseyin Baltacı, BAKEŞ President Hüseyin Bostancı, DMT State Assembly member Tarkan Multaza, and representatives of other institutions and organizations.
The book launch program started with protocol speeches.
In his speech at the opening, BTTOB President Aydın Ahmet, who hosted the book launch, said, “It will be much easier for a young person to know himself, to discover his talents and to look at the world with a healthy eye thanks to books. A book that turns despair into hope, despair into cure, loneliness into friendship, evil into good, ignorance into wisdom. Books that teach are a sun that sheds light on the future of humanity.”
In his speech, BAKEŞ President Hüseyin Bostancı stated that education comes to the fore in the works written by the writer Hüseyinoğlu.
Saying that Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu is an exemplary personality for the minority with his knowledge and equipment, Bostancı congratulated him for the works he wrote as BAKEŞ.
Mufti İbrahim Şerif started his speech by greeting all the participants and said that the first command of the Quran is 'Read'.
Congratulating Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu for the book he wrote, İbrahim Şerif noted that he had been in close relations with Hüseyinoğlu throughout his life and that he was one of the people who supported him on the path of life. Şerif said, “Hüseyinoğlu made important contributions to the minority with his writings. He is one of the most important people who supported me on my life and my career.”
At the end of the event, Aydın Ahmet, the President of BTTÖB, presented flowers to writer Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu.
The book presentation program ended with the author Tevfik Hüseyinoğlu signing the books.
