Spectacular rally by FEP Party in the village of Kozlukebir

Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party organised a rally in the village of Kozlukebir in the province of Rodopi on Wednesday evening, 5 June. The rally was attended by the Mayor of Kozlukebir Erdem Hüseyin, the head of the main opposition list Rıdvan Ahmet, councillors, President of BAKEŞ Hüseyin Bostancı, President of BTTÖB Aydın Ahmet and a large number of cognates.
In his speech at the Kozlukebir rally, FEP Party President Çiğdem Asafoğlu said that they participated in the elections in order to make the voice of the Muslim Turkish Minority of Western Thrace heard in Athens and Europe. Asafoğlu expressed the unresolved problems of the Turkish minority, the discrimination and injustices it is exposed to.
Asafoğlu, who was welcomed by the children with flowers, ended his speech with the words "Yesterday we were Turks, today we are Turks, tomorrow we will continue to be Turks". Asafoğlu expressed his belief that they will make their voices heard by acting together.
Mustafa Ali Çavuş, former President of the FEP Party and Chief Advisor of the party, also attended the Kozlukebir rally and made a speech.
At the rally, FEP Party's candidates for EP also took the floor and emphasised that the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace should be in unity and solidarity. The candidates called on the voters to go to the polls on Sunday 9 June and cast their votes.
