Seminar on "family relationships" held at Kemerli Mosque
A seminar titled "Family Relationships" was organized for women at Kemerli Mosque in Bağlar Neighborhood, Komotini, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
The event was arranged by the Komotini Mufti’s Women's Guidance Team under the Adult Women’s Coordination Unit and garnered significant interest from local women.
The seminar featured a presentation by Preacher and Quran Course Instructor Nafiye Karaali, who highlighted the message of Surah Ar-Rum, verse 21:
“And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.”
Karaali emphasized that the ultimate goal of family relationships is to find peace, stressing the importance of mutual love and harmony between spouses.
The program, attended by students from the Komotini Mufti’s Adult Women’s Quran Courses, began with an opening speech by Women's Guidance Team Leader Halime Mehmetali and was honored by the presence of Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif.
As part of the event, three attendees were gifted books, and refreshments were served with tea, marking a warm conclusion to the gathering.
