"Second Chance School" opens in Sirkeli Village

For the first time in its history, the Municipality of Kozlukebir has announced the opening of a "Second Chance School" in Sirkeli village. Registrations will begin on Monday, September 16, 2024.

In a statement, the municipality shared details about the registration date and the required documents:

"Since our first participation in the elections with the UNITY LIST in 2019, one of our projects has been to bring a 'Second Chance School' to the Municipality of Kozlukebir. Thanks to the intense and persistent efforts of our administration, which has only been in power for eight months, the school is now opening in Sirkeli."

The school will begin classes in the 2024-2025 academic year, according to the Ministry of Education's decision (protocol number 100784/K1/06.09.2024). This "Second Chance School" is aimed at adults over 18 who have completed elementary school but either never attended or dropped out of secondary school. The program lasts two academic years, with classes held in the afternoons from 17:00 to 20:35. Diplomas from this school will be equivalent to those from regular secondary schools.

Registration Period: September 16, 2024 – October 14, 2024.

Required Documents:

Copy of identification (Taftotita)
Certificate of civil status or birth certificate (Pistopiitiko Ikogeniakis Katastasis or Pistopiitiko Geniseos)
Elementary school diploma
If previously registered in secondary school, the registration document
For more information or to register, individuals can visit the Sirkeli Municipal Service Building from 08:00 to 14:00 or contact the Şapçı Second Chance School at 2532021110 during weekdays between 17:00 and 20:35.
