Red Cross volunteers from Komotini and Xanthi trained for the carnivals

Volunteers from Komotini and Xanthi branches of the Hellenic Red Cross were trained for the carnivals to be held in both cities in the coming period.
Volunteers in the rescue teams of the Komotini and Xanthi branches of the Hellenic Red Cross came together in a training exercise and received training from experts.
A training exercise was held on Sunday 3 March 2024 for the volunteers in the Red Cross rescue teams that will take part in the carnivals to be held in the coming days in the provinces of Komotini and Xanthi.
A total of 51 Turkish and Greek Red Cross volunteers from both cities were given practical training by 8 experts.
Volunteers were instructed by experts during the training exercise:
✔️Heart massage
✔️3 CPR with rescuer
✔️(Defibrillator)
✔️Injury immobilisation and handling skills
✔️Possible practical training was given on intervention to injured people with brain injury
