Reconstruction of Upper Ilıca – Ilıca Thermal Road to begin on August 25
From the entrance of Upper Ilıca village to the exit of Ilıca Thermal — will commence on Monday, August 25, 2025, as part of the project "Asphalting of the Road Network under the Jurisdiction of the Regional Unit of İskeçe, 2021–2022".
The works are scheduled to continue until Saturday, September 13, 2025, taking place daily from 07:00 to 19:00, excluding Sundays and public holidays, and subject to favorable weather conditions.
According to the temporary traffic management plan, the road will be completely closed in twelve phases, depending on the progress of the works. Road signs will be placed before the start of each workday and removed after completion, allowing the road to reopen to traffic outside working hours.
Passage for emergency vehicles will be ensured through the temporary suspension of works.
The reconstruction will begin from Ilıca Thermal and proceed towards Upper Ilıca.
The project is being carried out by VOUYOUKLI S.A.
This notice concerns asphalting works only. Separate announcements will be issued for any additional works included in the project plan.
