Plastika Thrakis restructures board of directors following vice chair resignation

The Board of Directors of Plastika Thrakis S.A. has been restructured following the resignation of Theodoros Kitsos from his role as Vice Chairman, the company announced this week. While Kitsos remains on the board as a non-executive member, Giorgos Samothrakis has been appointed as the new Vice Chairman and will serve in this capacity until the board's term ends on February 11, 2026.

Company Statement
In accordance with its commitment to timely, accurate, and transparent communication with investors—and in compliance with Article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and Council, Greek Law 4706/2020, and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission decision 3/347/12.07.2005—Plastika Thrakis issued an official statement regarding the restructuring.

The decision was taken during a Board meeting held on April 1, 2025, following the resignation of Mr. Kitsos from his Vice Chairman duties. As a result, Mr. Giorgos Samothrakis, an independent non-executive member, was appointed as the new Vice Chairman.

The company noted that this restructuring is expected to enhance transparency and improve the effectiveness of internal governance mechanisms.
