Panel on Xanthi Turkish Union to be held at Trakya University
The 41-year struggle of the Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB) for its rights will be discussed in a panel organised at Trakya University in Edirne.
The panel on "Legal Struggle of Xanthi Turkish Union in its 41st Year" organised by Trakya University Balkan Research Institute will be held on Thursday, 9 May.
İTB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu and İTB Legal Advisor Lawyer Ahmet Kara will take part in the panel as speakers. İTB President Ahmetoğlu will address the issue of "Xanthi Turkish Union - 41 Years of Struggle for Rights" in his speech. Lawyer Ahmet Kara, Legal Advisor of ITB, will also talk about the "Domestic Legal Struggle of Xanthi Turkish Union and the ECHR Process".
The panel will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Hüseyinoğlu from the Balkan Research Institute.
The panel, which will start at 14.00 on 9 May Thursday, will be held at Trakya University Faculty of Pharmacy Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Conference Hall.
