Multiple fires erupt in Şapçı

In the town of Şapçı, located in the Rodop region, four separate fires broke out near residential areas, causing significant alarm among the local population. The fires, which started on Wednesday evening, prompted an immediate response from Maronya – Şapçı Municipality's water transport vehicles.
The firefighting efforts were coordinated by Maronya – Şapçı Mayor Ali Topal Mehmet, with local residents also participating in the efforts. Three fire trucks were deployed to combat the blazes.
The fires occurred in several locations, including areas near the Şapçı football field, along the Şapçı – Evrenköy road, and the Şapçı – Kurcalı village road.
The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the cause of the fires in the area.
