Mufti Mustafa Hilmi Aga Community Pioneers Awards given

The late Mufti Mustafa Hilmi Aga Community Pioneers Awards event, organized by the Xanthi Mufti, took place on Saturday, 12 November at 19:30, at the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association Xanthi Cultural Center with great participation.
The event, hosted by the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association Xanthi Cultural Center, started with the opening speech of Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi. In the program hosted by the theologian Rıdvan Topçu, one of the branch managers of Xanthi Mufti, BTTADK President and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif shared his memories of the late Mufti Mustafa Hilmi Aga.
Afterwards, a cine vision show describing the life of the late Mufti Mustafa Hilmi Aga was presented to the participants, and sections from some of the articles that Mufti Aga wrote while he was Mufti were conveyed by Deputy Mufti of Xanthi Ahmet Hraloğlu. In the last part of the event, a panel discussion was held under the moderation of ITB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu. Here, former Deputy Ahmet Faikoğlu and former Deputy Governor Musa Vidinli, who lived and was close to Mufti Mustafa Hilmi Aga, took the floor and conveyed important information about the late Mufti Mustafa Hilmi Aga.
After the opening session, the award ceremony started. The awards were presented to people who pioneered the community in 7 different fields. Ahmet Faikogu in the field of politics, Dr. Hüseyin Baltacı in the field of health, Hamdi Köse in Religious Education, and Sabriye Kasım Delioğlu in Culture and Art. Two loyalty awards were received on behalf of the late Xanthi Mufti Mehmet Emin Aga and the recently deceased Mufti Ahmet Mete, respectively, by his children Mustafa Aga and Fatma Mete. The last award is an honorary award and it has been honored by the Turkish Consul General of Komotini Murat Ömeroğlu who has served for 5 years.
