Mayor Rıdvan Ahmet visited Edirne
Arianna (Kozlukebir) Mayor Rıdvan Ahmet visited Edirne, met with local representatives and invite them to Alantepe Oil Wrestling and Cultural Events.
Mayor Rıdvan Ahmet, who made contacts in Edirne on Friday, August 19, visited the Governor of Edirne Hüseyin Kürşat Kırbıyık, wished him good luck for his new duties and invited him to the historic Alantepe Oil Wrestling and Cultural Events to be held on August 26, 27, 28.
Ahmet also visited the Mayor Edirne Recep Gürkan and then Edirne Provincial Director of National Education Önder Arpacı in their offices. They talked for a while and he invited both of them to the events.
Mayor Ahmet, who performed the Friday prayer at the Sultan 2nd Beyazıt Mosque, attended the Ashura event organized by Trakya University at the Beyazıt Kulliye Imaret.
Together with Edirne Governor H. Kürşat Kırbıyık, Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu Mayor Rıdvan Ahmet distributed ashura to the citizens who attended the event.
After his contacts in Edirne Mayor Ahmet returned to Greece.
